COLLEGE REGULATIONS
DRESS AND PERSONAL HYGIENE
The College has no specific dress code. Any style of dress is acceptable as long as it is not offensive to other members of the College community, and glorifies God. Students are expected to come to college clean and well-groomed.
CONDUCT CODE
Students are expected to do all things to the glory of God. No student is therefore expected to be involved in antisocial or immoral conduct. Students are also expected to treat everyone with respect, submitting to one another in the reverence of God.
STUDENT DISCIPLINE
The College has a policy to discipline any action or conduct that is deemed unacceptable. Standard procedure, which is administered by the Disciplinary Committee, will be followed in all cases. Any student demonstrating disruptive behaviour will face the prospect of instant dismissal.
STUDENT COUNCIL
Presently the College does not run the students' affairs through Student Council. However, a yearly elected Student Representative, in consultation with the Dean will have authority in matters of coordinating students' activities. It is expected that the Student Body will give the elected representative their mutual cooperation.
The person to approach on matters of guidance and counselling regarding College life is the Dean. The Dean will act as the medium of communication between the students and Staff.
CHRISTIAN SERVICE
The students will be expected to partake in practical aspects of the College such as street evangelism, tract distribution, missions, open-air preaching, door to door, visitation, preaching in local churches and leading Bible Studies as preparation for future ministry. Students who wish to engage in Christian meetings outside College should first consult the College.
STUDENTS PLACEMENT/ PRACTICAL MINISTRY
Each year students will be placed in local churches within the London area for 4 weeks to gain practical Christian ministry experience. No student will be allocated to his/her local church for placement. The pastors or leaders of the designated churches will oversee the students in carrying out their responsibilities. They will assist in giving training and guidance to the students. The Minister hosting the placement will communicate the performance of each student in confidence to the College.
ORDINATION
The College does not and cannot ordain students seeking ordination. Interested students should make personal arrangements with their own church or Christian bodies set up for such purposes. |
